Education is the way forward for Afghanistan. The younger generation has so much to offer and unlocking that potential comes through quality education. It is easier to build strong children than to rehabilitate failed adults. A strong foundation in childhood sets the course of a life.
Meraj Academy is helping build a strong new generation of girls who are denied access to on-site schooling. Girls tune into the Academy programming on TV Meraj. This project gives access to a comprehensive 7-12th grade education. The students interact with the teachers via text, Telegram, Facebook messenger and call ins.
Meraj TV receives dozens of messages from this young audience everyday. The students use this to gain answers to their academic questions. People also send photos of children studying and express their gratitude for the programming content.
Meraj Academy is helping girls to continue their education so they can reach their full potential and contribute to their society.
