Thanks for helping families!
By Stephanie Bowers | Project Leader
Our work in Mexico continues! We've been partnering with DeHart Ministries for over a year now. Thanks to you, we've sent over a thousand cloth diapers, and can continue sending many more. This week another shipment leaves, and also includes some beautiful pillowcase dresses sewn with love by a local church. Communication is a little tricky, as diapers are shared with traveling pastors and missionaries to distribute to families in need. This Diaper Drop is certainly unique, and so impactful.
We recently had a diaper recipient share with us
Every time I change my daughter I feel so much love knowing so many people cared enough to help me put clean comfortable diapers on my daughter!!!
Thanks for making moments like this possible.

Thanks for helping babies!

It's been over a year since Mexico was devastated by the September 19th, 2017 Earthquake with a magnitute of 7.1. Thanks to you, over 250 children impacted by the earthquake now have an ample supply of cloth diapers to keep them clean, dry, and healthy.
We're working with a network of local pastors, who are distributing the diapers. They have shared with us how much the diapers are appreciated, and how much work remains to help families rebuild and recover. Diapers are such a basic need, and so commonly overlooked. The pastors are doing all they can to help. Some of the areas are quite challenging to get to, and they're even using small airplanes to get around!
Thanks for helping babies!

It's an exciting time here at Jake's Diapers! We're excited to share with you our relief work for persons impacted by the Mexico Earthquake is growing.
We have partned with a network of missionaries. These missionaries and their churches are in Mexico City and beyond, helping persons displaced by the earthquake. Families already living in poverty, now amplified by the earthquake, are in dire need of basic living supplies.
After the earthquake, there was an immediate need for relief. Now, more than six months later, many disaster relief agencies have left and we rarely hear about the earthquake in the news. Our help is needed more than ever for long term relief and recovery.
Thanks to you, more than 200 families will receive a complete supply of cloth diapers to last a baby from birth to potty training! I look forward to sharing more updates, and I encourage you to reach me at stephanie@jakesdiapers.org with any questions you have.
Thanks for helping babies!
