With these quarterly reports we strive to provide our donors with updated information concerning developments within our program “Emprende” or “Launch”.
COVID-19 had a considerable impact on us as an institution and the vulnerable families with whom we are working.
Despite these difficult times, with the money raised in March, April, and May 2021, we were able to renew eight loans and initiate one new loan for women entrepreneurs affiliated with Mujeres 2000. We distributed a total of ARS 170,635 (1,795 USD) to women entrepreneurs in vulnerable areas and situations. Thanks to these loans, the women we assist were able to acquire necessary goods to make their businesses grow, such as: sewing machines, printers, and supplies to boost their sales.
We held five workshops this quarter for women entrepreneurs. The topics covered were: time management, packaging, personal branding, business plan, and leadership.
We carried out three Entrepreneurship Management courses virtually this quarter for women, with a total of 29 graduates.
We were able to recruit nine new volunteers to assist with our operation, two who assist virtually and seven who assist in person.
We are – especially at this critical moment - enormously grateful for your support as a donor. Your trust in our initiatives is an important source of motivation to overcome the current challenges. Thank you for your support!
