Children of Balajothi would like to thank you all for your generous support for the Daily Meals project.
With all your support we have raised 95% that is $3,595 so far out of a budget request of $3,795!
We have further extended the project by raising our funding goal by another $3,795.
Here is the breakup of the amount spent on the daily meals served for the three months to the children of Balajothi:
May 2015 Rs.6,200.00 (USD ~103)
Jun 2015 Rs.8,645.00 (USD ~144)
Jul 2015 Rs.9,345.00 (USD ~155)
One of the key objective of Balajothi is to meet the Nutritional needs of the disabled children. The importance of a nutritious and well balanced meal cannot be over stressed. In June we introduced eggs twice a week and in July we introduced a meat based dish twice a week, so that their diet is well rounded.
The children are delighted with the new additions!
