Dear Donor,
we hope you are doing well! It's time again for an update from our Project at the Block Haye Hawayee Middle School. Read here what has been going on over the last few weeks:
Due to the low sub-zero temperatures in Afghanistan, construction work on some projects in Afghanistan had to be paused for a few months. This pause is common in the north of the country and was already taken into account in the project planning. The local partner organization OASE used the time to equip rooms that had already been completed and to hold numerous meetings, training sessions and workshops.
In a two-day environmental workshop, for example, 25 teachers dealt with sustainability, environmental protection, waste management and playful approaches to ecological education. Following this, the members of the School Development Council planned the greening of the school grounds and redesigned the school garden.
Joint activities such as these increase the feeling of togetherness and strengthen the sense of responsibility for the project in the school community.
Thank you so much for your support so far! It is only thanks to donors like you that we can successfully implement projects like these.
If you like, you are welcome to tell those around you about our association and our work.
Best wishes,
Celine
