The KIWL Charity Cycle Ride 2025 is officially underway! Day 1 took our 45 riders on a challenging loop around the scenic city of Kanazawa, with an elevation gain of 1,400 meters- the highest of the four days! The day started off tough, but the riders were rewarded with breathtaking views of Wataga-taki Falls, one of Ishikawa Prefecture’s hidden gems.
Among those riding is our very own Executive Director, Kozue Oka, who is taking on her 6th KIWL ride!! Providing crucial support along the route are 5 dedicated support car drivers, including Mirai no Mori Co-Founder, Jeff Jensen, ensuring every rider gets to the finish line safely.
Stay tuned as the journey continues across Japan’s countryside!
