Day 3’s route took KIWL riders from Wajima to Nanao, known for its peaceful bay. Riders put in another day of cycling, in addition to a special moment connecting with the local community!
KIWL riders visited a local children’s center in Noto and hosted a “World Snack Tour,” sharing sweet treats from around the globe. The children experienced unfamiliar flavors and became curious about where the riders were from- who, together, represent 8 nationalities.
To top it off, the riders were warmly welcomed in Nanao by some of our program graduates, reminding everyone what this ride is really about.
One more day to go!
