This project will solve the challenge facing students in public secondary schools, because most of them are coming from vulnerable families. So, we need to enable them to have a quality education in science subjects by solving shortage of mathematics and science subject teachers, unsatisfactory teaching of science subjects and inadequate of science subjects learning laboratory equipments in public secondary schools.
Tanzania public secondary schools faces a great shortage of science subject teachers, students low performance in science subjects, many students opt learn science subjects, inadequate of science laboratory equipments, small number of female students who are taking science subject as well as inability of using learned scientific knowledge to solve the existing problems in the society such as water and sanitation, poverty, disease and gender inequality.
MKUCHAWASA project by cooperating with government we will supply science subjects teachers in public secondary schools, increasing the performance of science subjects to students, rising funds to improve laboratories, creating ability of using and discovering the potential technologies to foster industrialization so as to be liberated from depending to color jobs. The project rose the spirit of loving science subjects to students by running science subject awareness campaign.
The project aims to reach more than 102,900 students in five years with potential scientific knowledge to fight against ignorance, poverty and diseases. To prepare a better future to students through received education in the classroom as our conscience guides us to have the quality education which is productive in enlarging national economy and improving living standard of the people.
