Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has continued to make meaningful strides in expanding access to early breast cancer detection through our Mobile Breast Cancer Screening initiative.
Over the past few months, our outreach team has visited several communities in the Volta Region, providing free breast cancer education and screening to women who have limited access to healthcare facilities. Through these mobile screening exercises, we reached over 200 women, offering both clinical examinations and referrals for those who required further medical evaluation.
We also distributed educational materials and engaged participants in interactive health talks to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and regular self-examinations.
The project continues to receive strong community support and positive feedback. However, we still face challenges such as limited screening equipment and transportation costs, which slow our ability to reach more remote areas.
Our next goal is to expand the program to other regions and acquire a dedicated mobile screening van to make early detection more accessible across Ghana.
We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters whose contributions are helping save lives through awareness, education, and early diagnosis.
