Every day, women and children in IDP camps die from illnesses that are easy to prevent. This project brings healthcare directly to those who need it most. By deploying one fully equipped mobile clinic, we will deliver free, essential medical services to 8,000 displaced women and children who currently have no access to care. The clinic will provide antenatal services, immunizations, malaria treatment, and health education, closing a deadly healthcare gap in IDP camps.
Lack of healthcare in IDP camps is a silent emergency. Pregnant women often give birth without skilled assistance, and children miss lifesaving vaccinations. Common illnesses like malaria and pneumonia become fatal due to delayed or absent care. With no nearby clinics, families must rely on unsafe home remedies. This crisis disproportionately affects women and children, driving high maternal and child mortality rates that are entirely preventable.
This project delivers a practical, proven solution. One rugged mobile clinic van will be equipped with diagnostic tools, essential medicines, and vaccine cold-chain systems. Staffed by a nurse-midwife and community health worker, the clinic will follow a structured monthly schedule across multiple IDP camps. Services will include antenatal care, childhood immunizations, malaria treatment, and health education, ensuring reliable care reaches the most vulnerable.
Your support will create lasting, measurable change. The mobile clinic will reduce preventable deaths while strengthening trust in healthcare systems. We aim to increase immunization coverage by 60% and skilled birth attendance by 40% in targeted camps. Over five years, 8,000 women and children will receive consistent care, leading to healthier pregnancies, protected children, and more resilient displaced communities.
