Dear Donor,
Thank you for your continued kindness and support, and we are grateful for everyone who believes in helping vulnerable children. Today, we share an update on our project to mobilize 50 volunteers to mentor street children in urban areas.
At this time, the funds raised are still too limited for us to begin training volunteers or supplying learning kits. Our goal is to prepare a team of committed mentors who will meet street children where they are, guide them through basic learning, offer emotional support, and help them find safer paths in life.
Although activities have not yet started, we are laying the foundation for a successful rollout once more resources become available. We are mapping high-need communities, identifying volunteer groups, and outlining training modules that cover child protection, communication skills, and street-level engagement.
The need on the ground remains urgent. Many children living on the streets have no adult they trust, no safe place to turn to, and no chance at basic education. A single volunteer can change the direction of several children’s lives by offering guidance and steady support. With enough funding, we can start training the first group of volunteers and begin reaching these children where they live.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in the value of mentorship. We will keep you informed as the project gains more support and moves closer to launching its activities.
With gratitude,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic K.
