Hello all and thank you once again for your incredible support.
With your help, we treated over 18,000 Liberians in 2019!
But the last few months have not been without trial and tribulation.
Imani House is already one of the only operating clinics in the area, and we’ve seen the current unrest and lack of accessible healthcare drive even more Liberians to our clinic. Our data shows a 22% increase of patients treated in October, November and December 2019 compared to the 3 months previous.
MEDICAL CHALLENGES:
We have provided continuous service to low-income Liberian mothers and families for nearly 30 years through the Liberian Civil War(s), the Ebola Crisis (during which we lost two of our staffers to the scourge), staff kidnappings and a host of other major obstacles. We have persevered, but now fear that our clinic may have to drastically reduce service due to the sudden increase in demand.
We plan on sticking to our bold commitment to provide micro-cost and/or free healthcare to low-income Liberians, but the reality is that we are a small operation and there are countless Liberians completely without healthcare. Our funds are running dangerously low considering the rapid increase of patients.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
