Support Liberian Family Health Care and Education

Warm greetings from Imani House Liberia staff and beneficiaries,

Thanks to your support, we continue to honor our moral and ethical mandate to provide affordable healthcare.  While also providing access to general healthcare, our clinic specializes in maternal health.  Liberia faces significant challenges in maternal and child health, including high mortality rates and limited access to quality care. These challenges are exacerbated by a fragile healthcare system, inadequate infrastructure, and a shortage of skilled health personnel.  

Liberia is dependent upon private health care centers to mitigate the wide gap of limited healthcare access among its citizenry. Imani House Clinic still offers the lowest cost for services of all private health care facilities in the Brewerville area. Since January 2025 until now,  we were privileged to serve 2000+ persons, mostly women and children.  We are filling in the gaps of government’s goal to reduce maternal child deaths in which Liberia has one of the highest in the world. 

It is a joy to follow our maternal patients from prenatal to post natal care!  The picture of one of our recent deliveries summarizes our healthcare goals.  The young mother in the picture lives in our community and literally walked a few blocks from her house while she was in the last stages of labor.  She is one of our many patients and what a joy to receive her in our clinic and deliver her baby boy.  Great outcomes like this are what we prioritize.
