Multicultural Women and Youth Empowerment Movement a concept by South Gator Basketball Club. Men are welcome to form part of our movement and collaborative. Our focus is to provide and promote quality conferences, workshops, camps, symposiums, forums, panel discussions, and experiences to enhance the livelihood of women and youth in Southern California and beyond.
Underserved and underfunded communities in Southern California and beyond lack services to empower women and youth to maintain stable financial, emotional, physical and emotional wellbeing resulting in higher rates of mental illness, drug use, homelessness, and financial despair.
Giving women and youth practical and preventative education; giving them a place to apply of skills on a reoccurring basis at NO cost to the participant ; and follow up support will empower underserved and underfunded communities women and youth reside in.
Utilization of mental health services, increase of financial literacy, decrease in obesity and chronic medical issues, improvement in self preservation and decrease hopelessness and homelessness.
