The Nuer Development Association has planned to provide educational support to children who have been left orphans, traumatized and also to constructs residential homes to disabled persons from murle milita war in Gambella.
The conflict has been started since 1985 by murle ethnic group of South Sudan against Nuer tribe of Ethiopia, the attack is launched yearly by murle people for the sake of raiding the cattle, abducting children and killing the adult people of Nuer community, it displaced more people from their homes, left children as orphan and traumatized.
This project intend to provide educational support to all children who left as orphan and traumatized by the war, the adult people who have disability and left vulnerable due to this war will be provided with cows, farming land or residential home based on their choice from these Three economic activities mentioned, The support will be given to all survivors of the war.
As matter of fact, the successful provision of those basic services to survivors Will bring each individuals and their families out from poverty line so that they can support themselves in the future and it might benefit The whole community.
