Murle War Affected Family Relief In Gambella

• As it was mentioned earlier murle-nuer war has displaced more people from their home and killed more parents which left more children orphan, the war is carried out by murle tribe militia of south sudan against Nuer citizen of Ethiopia.the objective of the war for them(murle) is to raid  cattles and abduct Nuer innocent children here in gambella,murle tribe has practiced the abduction as child market in exchange for cattle to those who desire to adapt a child.

• We are here by informing you that the murle War affected family relief in gambella (MWAFRIG)- is a project designed to respond this routine disaster, our project team decided that the survivors children are in dire need of basic humanitarian aid suchas education. this year's first month we started the provision of special support to some selected children depending on our capacity.we do support them by in kind donation not to give them a Cash money,our budget source is from fundraising event that we conduct through nuer development association which is our nonprofit organization,from the beginning of this year we provided: school meal, school books and school uniforms to 10 pupils but the total number of victims that need support are more than 30 according to what we assessed last year.

• The reason why we selected only ten out of thirty is screening that depends on following criteria

1.wealth status of their relatives who take care after them which mean those who are living with extremely poor relative should be prioritized first.

2. As survivors are from all five districts we decided not to ignore any one district from getting the opportunity so every district should have to provide at least two childs to be selected the arrangements might also increase the number of participants for our next fundraising events since the whole community may consider it as fair and free from corruption.
