Following the caregiver consultation conducted as part of the health crisis, developments to the online visitation application developed by the association were identified. The project has enabled us to implement them all. In concrete terms, it was a matter of making the works more immersive and visible by displaying them in full screen and offering an optimized zoom quality. It was also a question of creating, on the side, a sort of virtual remote control, with explicit icons to trigger a set of effects and thus make the experience more interactive. Finally, in order to make the proposed visits richer and more fun, and to make the concepts covered easier to grasp, the application had to offer, for each work, visual comparisons, educational and illustrative videos, sound effects and clipping.
All these evolutions were intended to answer the recommendations of the families.
Once all the evolutions were completed, each work commentary available in the application was taken back to be enriched. This corresponds to 100 revised comments and 25 e-visits. Extensive research in art history was carried out in order to enrich the commentaries, to identify particularly readable and relevant visual comparisons as well as pedagogical videos accessible online. These videos have the function of making certain historical and cultural contexts more easily accessible. In total, nearly 200 visual comparisons have been added to the application. About fifty clippings of the most
of the most significant elements of certain works have been made to facilitate their readability and understanding. The sounds and videos that reproduce the sound ambience of the works and create the sensation of being immersed in a painting were designed by an external service provider. In total, a dozen were made from various works such as: "La fête à Saint-Cloud" by Fragonard for which the animation consists of hearing the wind rising and announcing a storm or a statuette of Shiva from the collections of the Guimet Museum which is accompanied by the sound of the damaru (small tambourine that accompanies the Hindu deity)
The ARTZ association has collected numerous feedbacks from the beneficiaries of the action. In total, more than

team meetings by the volunteers in Civic Service. All the feedback was very valuable in order to
the impact of the technical evolutions. They largely contributed to the enrichment of the contents.
Following this feedback, which was essentially very positive, many corrections were made. This concerns the removal of unclear or too abstract formulations, spelling corrections, the removal of confusing historical references, the addition of educational videos to introduce Buddhism or to visualize the ancient Silk Road, for example. Visuals have been added to the comments of each statue to offer the possibility to grasp the work from different angles, following the feedback of the participants. The dimensions of the works have been added, as they were very frequently requested by our audience, as well as the current location of each work.
of each work. All comparison works were added in order to allow a better understanding of the commented works. The feedbacks allowed us to understand that they were interesting in themselves and that they should be accompanied by their references. This was done.
For the family caregivers, the fact that the activity could take place without them was appreciated. It gives them time to breathe without feeling guilty, but it also gives them independence. Some caregivers even mention a benefit to their absence which concerns the maintenance of their loved one's autonomy. For them, the activity is particularly beneficial in terms of cognitive stimulation and conviviality. It brings comfort to see young volunteers and a structure mobilized for their loved ones.
Because of its content, the application enhances the value of those being cared for and the presence of a volunteer helps to break
isolation. Although organized on a zoom, the conviviality is present as well as the exchanges. The caregiver is not always present during the sessions, but he/she manages to know indirectly the benefits. The weak point of this group activity is that sometimes the chosen theme does not necessarily appeal to some people. The caregivers who were present were often able to appreciate the way the sessions went, the rhythm of the requests and the benevolence of the team members.
"It is a very good stimulation that deserves to be more frequent. Congratulations to all these young
volunteers for their commitment to the cared for. The mobilization around our loved ones is very important, as is the contact with the outside world and with new people. The contact with the other people being cared for is easy. The more stimulation, the better. There were no worries about adapting via zoom. The interaction was very lively with interesting personal comments from the helpers. I find it necessary to
I think it is necessary to have separate activities and to give the person being helped some independence. It gives everyone a chance to breathe, be more composed and enjoy talking about the activity.
"She is particularly motivated by the activities and regularly asks me for the schedule of your interventions, which is a sign of her appreciation.
which is a sign of her interest. I think it's a very good activity that allows her to express herself freely and independently of me".
"The support worker was very well perceived and accepted. Being listened to and accompanied by a caring person has stimulated his ability to bond. It is essential, even in illness, to support relational capacities, because this is all that remains pleasant for a person struck by illness and old age in the little autonomy that remains. Support outside the family shows them that they are still important and helps them that they still matter and helps them through these very difficult times".
