Ze, who is 4 years 9 months old boy with moderate cerebral palsy, and joined our class in July, 2015. He was found to suffer from eye tracking problems and poor visual perceptual skills. Even with short attention spans, his perception of musical-produced sound is much better than visual perception.
Thank God Ze shows slightly higher levels of sensitivity to music, and he could participate successfully in music experiences and we expected to see the music therapy’s value in his treatment of motor, speech/language and cognitive domains. At the beginning, Ze was unable to interact with teachers and completed most of works by his parent instead. He often struggled with communication including eye-contact and verbal. We’ve provided Ze with various handheld percussion instruments, and he began to talk and interact with us gradually even a single word. Now Ze enjoys more fun in the class with his mother, young sister, and teachers. Thanks to all donors for the opportunity to have children, parents and family members grow together through the music therapy project.

We need your words!
"Children are the hope of the future. Let's help them."
"See music to let children progress, feel the Agency's intentions."
Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I see it all and I am grateful and blessed to receive so much encouragement from you all. We will keep our work steady year after year.
Happy New Year 2017~
Thank you for your support in the pass year. It’s hard to believe we closed out another calendar year, but we are excited for this new year of opportunities and growth that awaits us. The Lunar New Year is coming soon, we would like to let you know that your donation is going to play a vital role in allowing us to do good things for needy children in Taichung. Our organization wouldn’t be able to continue this valuable mission without generous people like you.
I wish you and your family a joyful, healthy and prosperous new year ahead!
With gratitude,
Wen Hung
