Digitalization of 20 rural schools in India.

Namma Shale which means my school in kannada is one of our government school adoption programs where we collaborate with government schools to provide holistic education giving opportunity to all students by providing them with improved infrastructure, co-curricular activities, providing educational activities. We also empower the teachers through capacity building sessions.

During this quarter we did the following:

• Students had an enlightening session on 'Electricity and magnetic effects of electric current.’ The STEM Lab that Reaching Hand installed made it possible for this educational experience. Thanks to our volunteers'efforts, these students now possess a clearer understanding of fundamental science concepts, fostering a brighter future filled with knowledge and curiosity.

•  We mentored and coached students In their studies at LPS Mestripalya, a government school in Rachenahalli, Bangalore

• Namma Shale project made a significant impact by distributing essential supplies in Thalakayanbetta, Venktapura, and Gandlichinthe, Chikkaballapur district. A total of 150 school bags, along with stationary items, were provided to support the education of local children.

•  We distributed school bags to 87 children attending the Government Lower Primary School in Byrathi, Bangalore. This initiative not only lightened the financial burden on struggling families but also fostered a sense of enthusiasm for education among the young recipients. By equipping these students with essential tools for learning, the project contributes to their academic success and underscores the importance of community support in ensuring every child's access to quality education.

We appeal to all our donors to help us so that we are able to do more work. Children have the right to education and they need to be in schools rather than put out of schools. Education helps eradicate hunger and poverty, giving a chance to a better life. Lets collectively make education a powerful weapon to change our world.
