Reaching Hand’s Namma Shale project helps underprivileged students to cope up with school and have just the same opportunities as other students. We help students with blended learning and the use of digital tools and resources.
In the last quarter the following activities were carried out : -
1.Seting up of STEM labs
We set up STEM labs in Government Schools—four in the Kolar district and four in the Chikkaballapur area. This will benefit more than 5,000 pupils. There are 105 models in each lab that relate to chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics. In addition, kits for DIY projects were given to students so they could practice what they learned.
2. Equipping teachers
Training was organised for teachers on how to use the models in eight government schools. This training will equip teachers to practically learn how to use the models while teaching students. The training was organized for about 5 hours for the subject teachers in the respective schools.
