Dear Supporters,
In the last quarter the GVI Trust took on a young and enthusiastic student named Dylan. With a passion for the charitable sector and determined to make a difference he put his head down and amerced himself in the great team environment
He was trained on Digital marketing Strategy Execution which includes social media, grant writing skills, event management. When he first started working for the GVI Trust he was quiet and shy but soon gained in confidence. That confidence shone through when he was awarded his first grant for Zimbabwe Education and may I add applying for grants is no easy feat. Preparing for our big SUP Charity Challenge coming up this year he organised the necessary licencing and equipment needed for this event.
Taking a liking to social media he formulated a strategy for the year increasing awareness of the GVI Trust and bringing on new followers and supporters. That really impressed us as he embraced his role to the fullest as well as working tirelessly to evolve his career development.
He completed his six months of training last December and we as a team have enjoyed watching him grow from strength to strength gaining numerous skills. We are going to miss having him part of our team but know he’s going to have a successful career ahead of him.
Once again we'd like to thank all of our supportrers, fundraisers and donors!
With Gratitude,
NSP
