The free Special Needs Expo and Resource Fair will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at the beautiful Lewis McAdams Riverfront Park in LA. The intervention strategy of the Expo aims at creating a support structure for families with special needs loved ones through education and knowledge of relevant issues for parents/caregivers who attend the event, reaching hundreds of people in the County of Los Angeles and position LA as a leader and trendsetter for the Special Needs Community.
Nearly 54 Million Americans cope with special needs and the rising associated expenses, Nearly one-fifth of all Americans-more than 54 million men, women and children- have a physical, sensory or intellectual disability, according to the National Organization on Disability. The expo aims at bringing together all service providers, govt. agencies, businesses under one roof to then educate and inform families who need the guidance on where to look for help when they need it the most.
The expo will address some of the biggest challenges facing the special needs delivery system by bringing together all service providers and caregivers under the same roof.
Better infrastructure, increased awareness and solutions for a improved special needs delivery system in the country.
