Right now Zambia is in the middle of a devastating cholera outbreak.
Nine out of Zambia’s 10 provinces have reported cholera cases and there have already been more than 600 deaths reported. In Lusaka, authorities have set up a makeshift treatment center outside the National Heroes Stadium. We are grieving with the individuals and families who have lost loved ones during this time.
Because of the cholera epidemic, the Ministry of Education in Zambia has postponed the opening of schools and learning centers, so our Community Care Centers will continue to be on break until February 12. During this time, our staff has been doing intensive training and can’t wait to partner with families at our Community Care Centers again when we reopen! Enjoy these photos of our team learning together. We have been thankful for the extra training time.

Pray that this terrible cholera epidemic would come to an end.
Pray for those who are sick, to be able to receive the care and treatment they need.
Pray for the health care workers and volunteers who are bringing aid to communities in Zambia.
