New Hope for an Ancient People

Dear Friends,

The past quarter has been full of meaningful progress for Save Kids Trust.

In December, we welcomed four special guests to Jaipur, including two board members and two SKT donors, who spent several days immersed in our work. They visited each clinic, participated in educational seminars and street clinics, gifted sewing machines, and witnessed firsthand the daily rhythm of care in the communities we serve. They also carried with them 600 pairs of children’s winter mittens—gifts for children who had been learning about germs and the importance of clean hands. Throughout the colder weeks of January and February, Dr. Saini shared that he continued to see those bright mittens all around the neighborhood, a small but visible reminder of warmth, dignity, and connection.

We also saw beautiful progress in our Kathak dance program, part of our ongoing initiative to encourage children to step away from excessive screen time and toward cultural and physical enrichment. The children performed informally during an educational seminar, and their confidence, discipline, and joy deeply moved our visitors. Watching their growth was a powerful reminder that health includes emotional and cultural well-being.

Clinically, winter brought the usual seasonal illnesses, but we also supported several more complex cases. One father came to us with a severe foot injury that was not healing, threatening his ability to work and provide for his family. With coordinated care and follow-up, he is now recovering and returning to work. We also treated a second-grade girl with a complicated skin infection that had kept her out of school. She, too, is healing and back in class. Stories like these—restored health, renewed stability—are now featured on the “Our Impact” page of our new website.

Meanwhile, construction of our fourth brick-and-mortar clinic is moving forward at an exciting pace. In December, foundation holes were being dug, and our visiting guests had the privilege of placing the cornerstones and meeting the design and construction teams. January saw the completion of rebar and concrete work for the foundation. This month, underground infrastructure and pilings for the three-story structure are being completed. What was recently a vision is quickly becoming a reality!

We are grateful to share that an $8,000 matching opportunity remains available to help fully fund this clinic. Every gift made toward this project will be doubled, accelerating our ability to expand access to quality healthcare in underserved communities.

Your donations helped us start construction of our fourth clinic which will be completed in 2026. Thousands of families with no prior access to healthcare will be served by this new clinic.
