Thank you for supporting Nijiiro Diversity and our LGBTQ center Pride Center Osaka!
We would like to give you an update on our annual river cruise event Pride Cruise Osaka.
We started our river cruise event in 2022, the same year we opened our LGBTQ center.
Our center sits right in front of the river in central Osaka, and we had an idea to start this event to raise awareness in the city.
We started as a very small event, but in kept growing slowly and steadily.
This year, we had few boats with participants and lots of rainbowflags, many people cheering from the shore, and a free event at the venue on the riverside, where we held talk sessions, panel exhibition, food stands and more.
Thank you so much for supporting us, and with your help, we hope to continue spreading more awareness and keep our safe space open for many LGBTQ people and their family and friends.
