Project Report | Mar 6, 2022
New Cat Zone

By Rebecca Chidley | Volunteer

We recently had a group of 20 cats that needed to be relocated from another shelter and as they were quite traumatized and unsocial, we decided to build a quiet area just for them so they could be amongst themselves. So, we got busy putting up a fence and built a wooden house for their new accommodations. At the moment, the new residents spend a lot of time in the upper loft areas where they feel safe, but we hope with time they feel more at home and will begin to spend time on lower ground. Rubi was the only one willing to participate in today's photo shoot, she's definitely enjoying her new digs!
