NRC's Emergency Fundraiser for Ukraine

Summary

The people affected by the conflict in Ukraine need your help now. We have no time to lose. The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been present in Ukraine since 2014, helping more than 700,000 people with food, shelter, water, sanitation and legal assistance. We are now doing what we can to scale up our emergency response, both inside Ukraine and in neighbouring countries. Thank you so much for supporting people forced to flee.

Challenge

The situation in Ukraine is increasingly chaotic. Hundreds of thousands are currently fleeing in search of safety, and it's impossible to keep track of the number of people who have been displaced. The UN refugee agency, UNHCR, estimates that as many as four million Ukrainians may seek protection in other countries in the coming days and weeks.

Solution

NRC's main focus areas in the days and weeks ahead will be cash aid, shelter and water. We will distribute emergency relief where local markets are not functioning, and provide critical information and legal advice. NRC has also sent emergency response teams to Poland, Moldova and Romania, and will provide essential support for refugees in neighbouring countries.

Long-Term Impact

When you support us, you save lives and build safer futures.
