According to the recent report of the World Health Organization in Benin from January 2020 until nowadays there have been 26.036 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 162 deaths [data from WHO website]. The vaccination campaign is still inadequate and the number of positive cases is growing.
All COVID restrictions have a huge impact on country’s social and economic wellness.
Fortunately, our local referents always keep us informed of our children daily life and above all of their needs. We’re glad to inform you that our volunteers Piero and Adriana finally could visit the centers after two long years!
Recently, the government has changed several laws concerning the C.A.P.E (center for children hospitality and protection) opening consent. For this reason, we need your help once again!
Thanks to your donation we’ll able to support the renovation works of our center in order to obtain the new government’s approval. Our priority is the protection of children. Since the number of children has increased, we need your help to extend our center Tanguiéta.
Great news to share: a new collaborator has come! We’re glad to introduce you Sister Augustine as new responsible of our center Toucountouna. We are pleased to announce you the opening of a new project in Bagou. Thanks to the collaboration of our lovely Sister Rose as new responsible of this center, we’ll help five orphans newborns.
We need your support to guarantee these children the protection and the attention that they need.
Thank you in advance for your future support!
