Imagine the sharp sting of a rock, the bite of a thorn, the searing heat of the ground—all on bare feet. This is the daily reality for those we are called to serve. While many of us worry about what to wear, they worry about where to find their next meal, forced to walk for miles into the unforgiving bush just to scavenge for scraps.
They are the forgotten ones, left to suffer in the shadows, enduring hunger and pain in heartbreaking silence. But we believe they deserve more. They deserve a second chance—a chance to walk on a solid path, to eat a nourishing meal, and to feel the dignity of being cared for.
