The food security lies in the hands of community 3
By Johannes Shikuloh | Project Leader
This pproject has so far progress well despite insufficient funding. Community members are gradually taking ownership forefront of all work and ready for project management and ownership. Younger girls as well as School children are also engaged in the garden work on weekends to help them become self reliant in future and help the project continue for a long time.
Garden produces mostly vegies, that are distributed among the members helping them have sufficient food as way of fighting hunger and promotes healthy living amongst pregnant women and children.
We hope this summer season the project will do more for we probably expected good rains that would provide so much needed water for garden.
