Thank you for your donation to help underweight babies in Nigeria. Your support comes at a critical time when many infants are fighting for their lives.
Right now, we cannot begin our work. The single donation we have received, while deeply appreciated, is not enough to purchase even one week's supply of nutrition packs. Babies continue to go hungry while we wait for more help.
The reality these babies face is desperate. Every day, underweight infants are fed watered-down cereal because their families cannot afford proper nutrition. These babies are not just thin - they are starving. Their bodies lack the strength to fight off common illnesses. Many will not survive the month without intervention. These are not just statistics - these are children who may not live to see their first birthdays.
We know exactly how to help when we have the resources. We have identified 1,500 underweight babies who need immediate nutrition support. We have trained health workers ready to deliver life-saving nutrition packs and teach mothers proper feeding techniques. But without funding, we can only watch as the situation grows worse.
