Dear Supporters
When I take a stroll in South Africa, I notice plastic and piles of trash on the townships' floors and on the country's beaches.
Both the problem and the solution are serious. The children simply don't understand the consequences of dropping even one bottle or crisp packet because they simply follow their parents, and nobody in their family is educated. This demonstrates the significance of the project: the local aquarium, in collaboration with us, sends a busload of students to nearby schools where our subject-matter specialists provide engaging classes about the ocean, its inhabitants, and the effects humans are having on it.
Our team held over 300 events in 2022, and the neighbourhood aquarium helped us bring 24 schools into the facility. Since then, these kids have developed into community leaders who promote recycling and are considering careers in marine conservation. However, we need your support to carry on in 2023 and perhaps even expand our activities.
Together, we can affect change, but first we must educate. With this project, we accomplish this in a way that is entertaining and engaging, but since local governments won't assist us, we can only do this with your help and donations.
We appreciate your support!
