Our Special Donors and Supporters,
It's the height of summer in South Africa and as I go for a walk around I see plastic and mountains of rubbish on the beaches and floors of the townships.
It's a serious issue and it's simple. The children follow their parents and nobody is educated so they just don't know what the impact is of them dropping just one bottle or crisp packet. This shows you how important this project is, the local aquarium working in partnership with us takes a bus out to local schools and our experts run interactive lessons for children about the ocean, wildlife in the ocean and what impact they are having on it.
In 2022 our team did over 300 events and the local aquarium supported us to take 24 schools into the centre, since then these children are becoming ambassadors within the community, leading on recycling and also looking at a career in Marine Conservation - it is so inspiring to see but we need your donations so we can continue in 2023 and hopefully even do more!
Together we can change but we need to educate and with this project we do it in a fun and interactive way but local governments won't support us so we can only do this with your support and donations so thank you for supporting us!
