Last November we concentrated on selecting new scholarship holders.907 candidates were interviwed by Mr.Aygündüz and among them 590 students were determined as scholarship holders.So this year we have totally 1226 scholarship holders. We would like to thank our donors who provided us with this opportunity.Our tradtonal donors-scholars meetings were organized on 23-26 December.1261 students and 21 graduates who are lecturers were together durng 4 days.Prof.Dr Mr. Ahmet Yozgatlgil who is President of METU and Dr Taner Zorbay who is Dean of the Students attended meetings and gave speeches giving students information about the university.
WE succeded to collect 22 millions tl -629.000 usd as donatons although our fund’s 2024 target was 13 millions tl-372.000 usd This year we estimate 26 millions tl which is equal to 743.000 usd donatons.We hope this target also will be exceeded.
Last month we organized breakfast in Ankara in order to give plates to whom had donated since 2010.Some of senior students and some of graduates also attended breakfast.
