Offer Hope for 300 Youth in the Dominican Republic

For The Bienvenido Project FUNFONAVI, reporting what we do every day with your contributions and donations is the best way to thank you and GlobalGiving for the difference they make in the community we work with.

In the month of July Calvary Evangelical Free Church, ran an event called BUILDERS WORKSHOP, with a group of 9 volunteers composed of doctors, nurses, teachers and servers to perform different activities that brought relief and learning to community The Bienvenido Project FUNFONAVI.

(a) A medical operation attended by more than 100 pregnant patients and children; And they all got their medicines.

(b) Workshop for Children: The children learned by playing, how to build their dreams, their future and their environment, through talks and educational activities, they received breakfast, lunch and personal prizes.

(c) The Night of Champions 50 men from the community participated, shared a dinner with Creole cuisine, the boys learned their role and responsibility with themselves, with their family and the society in which they live, and each one received a gift that made them laugh and feel valued.

In August, La Fundación para el Desarrollo Integral de Niñ@s, y Adolescentes offered a Talk / Workshop for adolescents between 12 and 21 years old, attended by 30 adolescents and young people who learned through dynamics and crafts the value and purpose of their lives, in the community where they develop and live.

In the month of July 2,194 and in August 1,909 for a
Grand Total of 4,103 people received a nutritious lunch.
