Greetings all,
I hope the new year finds you well. Our coding club students have continued their learning and prototyping and we'll continue this work into the upcoming year. Unfortunately, we were not able to make our way up to the Amazon due to logistical difficulties, but we'll be trying again later this year.
Moving forward, we've decided to adjust the project slightly. A similar forest community is closer to Campinas, where a lot of our students live and work and so we'll work on demonstrating and testing our prototypes in the nearby community of Guapiruvu over the first half of the year. Once we have proof of concept of our classrooms-in-a-box, we'll work on expanding it to more remote communities in Brazil as well as importing the concept to our Ukrainian colleagues, who have a desperate need for offline learning at the moment.
With gratitude,
Lev
