We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions towards supporting destitute elderly persons through the esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

Since 2014, SERUDS has been dedicated to identifying and helping neglected elderly individuals from rural villages in the Kurnool and Mahabubnagar districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Through the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and staff, 20 elderly people have been identified and brought to the SERUDS Old Age Home, where we provide them with a safe and supportive environment.

From the very beginning, our charity has ensured that these elderly individuals receive nutritious meals, timely medical care, regular check-ups, new clothing, and emotional support. Most of these elderly individuals had been abandoned by their children or, in some cases, have no family at all. At this critical point in their lives, SERUDS has been instrumental in restoring their self-confidence and dignity. They now live in a cooperative, peaceful environment, where they support and uplift one another. The positive impact of this care is evident, as they have found a new sense of happiness, leaving behind past disappointments.

Through the nutritious meals we provide—such as steamed rice, Taar dhal, sambar, seasonal pickles, mixed vegetable curry, and curd—the health of these elderly individuals has significantly improved. We are truly witnessing the transformation in their well-being, and the happiness on their faces is priceless.
