Respected Donor,
Greetings from SERUDS!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering generosity in supporting destitute elderly individuals residing in our old age home. Your kindness is making a profound difference in their lives.
For the past five years, SERUDS has been providing food, shelter, medical care, and clothing to 20 elderly individuals who have nowhere else to turn. These senior citizens, ranging from 60 to 90 years old, were identified by our dedicated volunteers and staff from various villages in Kurnool District (Andhra Pradesh) and Mahabub Nagar and Gadwal districts (Telangana). Many of them were abandoned or left struggling in critical circumstances due to poverty, family disputes, or negligence from their children. Recognizing their dire situation, we brought them to Happy Old Age Home, where they now receive the care and dignity they deserve.
At our facility, these elderly individuals are provided with nutritious meals three times a day, tailored to their preferences. Their daily diet includes steamed rice, dal, sambar, seasonal fruits, curd, vegetables, chapati, papad, and South Indian delicacies like idli and dosa. Our goal is to ensure they enjoy their remaining years in comfort, free from hunger and suffering.
Additionally, every 15 days, we arrange medical check-ups with specialized doctors to address their health concerns and provide regular medication for their well-being. Since these elderly individuals are no longer physically capable of working in agricultural fields or as daily wage laborers, our primary focus is on offering them a safe, happy, and healthy environment where they can live with dignity.
Your generous contributions have been instrumental in sustaining this initiative, ensuring that these neglected senior citizens receive proper care and support. Without your kindness, it would be impossible for us to continue this noble mission.
Thank you once again for your invaluable support in bringing comfort, care, and hope to these elderly individuals in need.
