Dear Respected Donors,

Warm greetings from SERUDS!

We are profoundly grateful for your generous support in caring for destitute elderly individuals who have been tragically abandoned by their own families. Your contributions have been vital in restoring dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging to some of society’s most vulnerable members.

We have welcomed 20 elderly individuals, aged between 65 and 90, from various villages across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. These seniors were identified by our compassionate team of volunteers and staff, who work closely with community leaders to locate neglected and isolated elders and encourage them to join our Happy Old Age Home.

Prior to joining us, many of these seniors endured heartbreaking circumstances—some were homeless, while others survived by begging on the streets. Through patient and empathetic counseling, we’ve helped them transition into a life of care, comfort, and renewed hope.

At our Happy Old Age Home, we provide them with everything they need to live with dignity—clean clothes, bedding, and essential daily items. They receive three wholesome meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—designed to meet their nutritional needs. To ensure their safety and well-being, we have appointed three full-time caretakers who offer round-the-clock support and a nurturing environment.

Healthcare is a critical component of our care. The residents receive regular medical check-ups at the Government General Hospital, where skilled doctors monitor their health and prescribe treatments as needed. This consistent care has led to notable improvements in their physical and emotional well-being. Some have even regained the strength and confidence to participate in daily activities around the home, which has greatly boosted their morale and sense of self-worth.

Your kindness and philanthropy are the foundation of this life-changing initiative. Without your continued support, it would be nearly impossible to provide timely and quality care for these neglected elderly individuals.

On behalf of every resident at the Happy Old Age Home, we thank you deeply for your generosity, compassion, and for being an integral part of this mission. Together, we are not only providing shelter and care—but also rekindling hope, love, and purpose in the twilight years of their lives.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Team SERUDS
