Dear Donors and Supporters,
Imagine your street being so clogged with plastic that when it rains, the water has nowhere to go but into your home. This is the daily reality for families in the slums we are trying to help.
We write to you today because our 100 Million Plastic Cleanup Challenge has not yet begun. The plastic is still there, blocking drains and posing a threat to health and safety.
This project is necessary because it tackles a root cause of suffering in these communities. It’s about more than just picking up trash; it’s about preventing the floods that displace families and stopping the spread of diseases carried by mosquitoes. By turning this plastic into a resource through recycling, we also plant the seed for a greener local economy.
We have a team ready to go, but the clean-up cannot start without your support. We believe in a future where children can play without wading through waste, and where rains don't bring disaster. If you believe in that future too, please help us get this vital project started.
With hope,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
