Dear donor,
Education suffered immensely in 2020-2021 due to lack of access to technology in disadvantaged communuties and with all our efforts, we could support only a fraction of our scholarship students with laptop and notebook computers to catch up with distance learning.
The pandemic on the other hand opened a new pathway for us and in the digital world distances disappeared. We created our own digital courses and could bring together students from far eastern towns with those in bigger western cities as long as they had access to internet and computers.
We started several pilot projects of online learning such as weekly seminars on 21st century skills for highschool students and English courses for university students.
During the new school year we plan to scale up these online projects and want more of our students to take part. In this respect we hope to purchase and distribute 2000 Hometech notebooks to highschool students and 1000 HP laptop computers to university students.
