We would like to thank you for past funding in support of this project. These funds have helped us to maintain the current student enrolloment in our program. Our boarding students will continue throughtout the summer working and living at the Yachana Training Center. We are in the process of interviewing new students to join our current Yachana Future Builders that will be continuing in the fall. Many of our students graduated this year and will be applying what they have learned at Yachana back in their home community. The cost of sustaining one student remains about $3000 per year. We count on funds from supporters like you to help defray this costs.
We will be changing the YFB program slightly this fall to open up the program to a larger area in the region, giving more students the opportunity to attend. We feel that it is correct to close this project at this point and open up a new project in the fall that will give different funding categories that will tie to the new expanded program.
