The objective of this project is to provide the orthopedic and physical therapy aids that the patient requires, to facilitate their mobilization, and give them the necessary care according to the indicated medical prescription once they have undergone surgery. Some patients have had to be amputated in some of their lower or upper limbs due to cancer and therefore require special assistance.
Some patients have had to be amputated in some of their lower or upper limbs as a result of cancer and therefore require special physical care. Other children have gone through different kinds of surgeries and need other aids like physical therapy for their rehabilitation.
This project will benefit individual patients with aids such as orthopedic mattresses, wheelchairs, Anti-decubitus cushions, walkers, toilet chairs, canes, crutches. They will also have access to physical therapies to improve their mobility and recovery and in some cases, their bedrooms can be adapted with a new bed and mattress to improve the quality of their sleep, their comfort, and their self-esteem. We also want to offer a good wheelchair to facilitate the transport of patients.
Fulfilling these objectives will improve the life quality of children and facilitate a faster recovery.
