Thank you to everyone who has helped JAC at our Re-Entry Legal Clinics! Serving the community of formerly incarcerated citizens with legal barriers is the mission of our organization and we are grateful for your assistance.
As the COVID numbers continue to rise, we have been extremely blessed to host a clinic each month, assisting 16 people with their legal issues from child support, driver’s license reinstatement, consumer credit issues, TWIC card appeals, traffic ticket debts and much more.
We have moved our clinics to larger facility, due to the damages sustained from Hurricane Ida and to facilitate social distancing on a larger scale. Having the ability to meet in the larger facility, in addition to our COVID-19 protocols and modification of delivery of services, we are hopeful to continue to keep COVID at bay. Your continued support is vital in helping us accomplish that goal. With your support, we can allow for social distancing, provide PPE and eliminate paperwork being passed back and forth. The next ReEntry Legal Clinic is set in New Orleans on January 19th at 5PM at Thrive NOLA.
Thanks again for your support, which is being utilizing to assist the citizens of our community! We look forward to updating you again soon.
