Owed Soap Chapter Rwanda provides soap production training to high school students and less advantaged communities in Rwanda. It also provides bars of soap to these communities with the aim of combating poor hygienic problems that may lead to water borne diseases. The goal of this project is to promote hygienic practices and combat diseases triggered by poor hygiene.
Due to lack of enough soap, less advantaged communities face waterborne diseases triggered by poor hygiene which puts children and mothers at risk. Owed Soap Chapter Rwanda will solve this problem through provision of soap production training to high school students and less advantaged community members.
OWED SOAP and FIELDS OF HOPE through Owed Soap Chapter Rwanda will provide soap production training to 200 high school students from 20 different high schools and 100 community members. It will also provide bars of soap to 100 needy beneficiaries.
When this project is funded, 200 high school students from 20 different high schools and 100 community members will be provided with soap production training, 100 bars of soap will also be provided to needy beneficiaries leading to promotion of hygienic practices and reduction of waterborne diseases among children and mothers from less advantaged communities in Rwanda.
