Project summary
Owed Soap Chapter Rwanda provides soap production training to high school students and less advantaged communities in Rwanda. It also provides bars of soap to these communities with the aim of combating poor hygienic problems that may lead to water borne diseases. The goal of this project is to promote hygienic practices and combat diseases triggered by poor hygiene.
Activity: Provision of Bar Soap to the needy families
Owed Soap Chapter Rwanda together with her volunteers managed to provide bars of soap to 66 beneficiaries that helped them to increase on their hygiene practices hence reducing the burden of water borne diseases.
Next proposed activity: Soap Production Training
The project will provide soap production training to community members so that they can be able to produce their own soap and maintain their hygiene and prevent diseases triggered by poor hygiene.
Challenges
We have not received any donations yet; limited funding is our biggest challenge. Though, we believe that one day; donors, partners and well-wishers will join us and implement all project activities together.
Need for involvement
We are inviting donors, partners and well-wishers to join us and we combat poor hygienic problems that may lead to water borne diseases.
