Good Cause Foundation continues to promote sustainable solutions to menstrual health challenges through entrepreneurship training for girls and youth. During this reporting period, participants were trained in the production of reusable sanitary towels using affordable, locally available materials.
The training provided practical skills in product design, sewing, quality control, and small business management. Participants learned how to manufacture reusable sanitary pads that are both affordable and environmentally friendly. These products are helping increase access to menstrual hygiene materials within underserved communities.
Several trainees have already started producing reusable sanitary towels for personal use and distribution within their communities. Some participants are exploring income-generating opportunities through the sale of the products, creating pathways toward economic empowerment and self-reliance.
The initiative not only addresses menstrual health challenges but also equips young people with entrepreneurial skills that can support their livelihoods in the future. Community members have welcomed the project, recognizing its potential to improve girls' health, education, and economic opportunities.
We sincerely thank our donors for investing in sustainable solutions that empower girls, strengthen communities, and promote long-term change.
