Summary

Cholera wide spread in Pakistan after floods 2022 and about 12 districts of Baluchistan and Sindh affected by Cholera, AHD Nadi filter solution will help & eradicate this disease and help 10,000 flood affected families to save them from water borne disease, Nadi filter is one time investment and lifetime solution, save multiple diseases and help in Natural life towards sustainable Goals of UN SDG # 6 to achieve quickly. this project needs to promote and replicate on large scale in Pakistan

Challenge

Pakistan Floods 2022 hit hard and some 1750 people died and some 33 million displaced, Floods damaged their houses & livestock and all they have submerged in flood water. Women and children affected more and sickness and food shortage on high scale, NGOs, INGOs and Govt institutions provided helps for emergency purposes but after IDPs return to their homes/villages and find no help, Nadi filter is only option for them to drink long term clean water at their household level and enjoy healthy life

Solution

More than 33 million people are in difficult situation due to heavy floods and needs safe drinking water, AHD Pakistan will give them trainings and Nadi filter units to get safe and clean drinking water and save themselves and their children from the Gastero and Diherial and malaria infections, usually women and children sick due ti drinking contaminated water, Nadi filters will save people from all water borne diseases

Long-Term Impact

Provision of 10,000 Nadi filter water units will benefit to flood affected families & 100,000 individuals to save them from the water borne diseases and Malaria infections on long term basis. Once families installed Nadi filter units will be able to keep maintain & repair through their own with full time facility to have safe and clean drinking water at household level. Till to date 4,250 families received & Installed Nadi filter units through your all support. A Sustainable Initiative
