Alarming Conditions, Women & Children Drinking Contaiminated Water in rural areas of Pakistan

Pakistan is agricultural Country, where 70% population lives in rural areas and engaged with farming profession since their forefathers. Since 2010, 2011 & 2012 supper floods the lower Sindh rural families disturbed 80% some of them lost their houses, animals, crops and lives.

Presently water shortage in delta belt including Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Umerkot & Tharparkar some 60% rural families facing water shortage for agricultural as well as drinking purposes, majority of the farmers forced to drink contaminated water and in such hot days poor women and children sick due to water borne diseases.

On urgent basis rural families needs support and trainings of the Nadi filter units that they can have safe and clean drinking water at their door step, we once again share the update with all of you supported AHD in the past, we again once more need your support to reach out more families with safe drinking Nadi filter unit, the cost of 1 Nadi filter only 15 US $, we hope your support will enable us to reach pout more families
