5,000 more food rations were distributed to flood relief rehabilitators, many of whom are still displaced. We also included soap in these packages for hygiene and health. These were distributed throughout low income areas of Karachi as well as multiple districts of interior sindh including badin, sanghir, matiachi, tando allahyar, etc.
This would not have been possible without your generosity and kindness. The need is overwhelming and now with the political situation worsening, even more needed.
Pakistan is going through a very rough time right now. Imran Khan, former PM and Chairman PTI, has been arrested and the streets are not safe as many citizens feel this is unjust and he is in danger, so there are street protests. The wifi and to some degree cellular is off. The country needs to breathe and distractions from problems and danger, but at all times food is needed.
In a worsening economy, it is harder to get jobs. Inflation is also increasing food prices. Your generosity is not just feeding people but saving lives. Thank you!
